A canopy field condition covers the bathhouse pools. Arched ceilings add grandeur, star shapes introduce private corners to rest, change, and relax.
The star shaped, arched roof structure becomes a field condition embedded into the steep topography of the site. Becoming both landscape and roof structure, the shape allows for non standard movement throughout the site by traversing the tops of the star shapes, both as ground and roof form. The bathhouse roofs allow for lots of light to enter between the points of the arched star shapes, and the roof field condition defines the areas within the building, for changing rooms, bathing rooms, and saunas.
